Carpet can be Nice

Reality Check

On our website, we like to be frank. We like to think that our transparency is one of the ways we are working to gain your business. All industries are slippery. But choosing a Big Box Stores vs Pros can be particularly challenging. The reality is you get what you pay for. There are deals to be had. One thing to keep in mind is the massive amount of overhead it takes to keep network of thousands of stores, trucks, employees, etc running results in a huge markup. This results in a cost savings. Even if the label is the same on two sets of products from our store and a big box store - our product is superior in quality.

Knowledge

We have real experience. We've been in business since 2006 and have installed thousands of floors - millions of square feet of flooring. We have seen it all.

No matter what happens, we have probably seen it and will have an idea on what to do.

At the end of the day, carpet isn't rocket science Most people just want something soft and affordable. We can do that. But there can be a lot of shenanigans in the bidding process. It's important that you understand competing bids and what you're getting - and that it's apples to apples. We can explain that.

With Carpet, there are essentially three fibers (There are more, but let's keep things simple). Wool, Nylon, and Polyester. For the most part - Wool is the most expensive - then Nylon, followed by Polyester.

With Carpet, you pay for a couple of other factors too. Such as: how much yarn there is in the construction. Solution dyed vs dyed yarn. How tight the loom is. And what kind of construction - loop, cut and loop, or frieze. You also pay for the kind of pad you get. By the way, that's usually where the labor is hidden in the "free labor". Pad doesn't cost 7 - 10 dollars p/yard....

If you've gotten this far, kudos. Your attention span is longer than most. Give us a call and we can measure up your space and give you an estimate.
