A lot of people these days want to rip out their solid floors and throw in LVT or have a nice wide plank. And that's fine. It's nice to make a home your own. Here are somethings to consider before doing so.

• A solid wood floor can be stained any color
• Solid floors can have maintenance coats along the way.

Our process for sanding and finishing includes 3x coats. We really recommend using a two component water based finish for a variety of reasons. It has less VOCs. It dries and cures faster and it does not yellow over time.
